process.
The removal of the existing clinic area
services were carried out allowing for the
refurbishment to include the extension of
the radiology and imaging department.
The expansion of this area included the
modifications to, and newly installed CT
scanner and X ray systems.
The rooms in question comply with the
latest Meigan regulations and specialist
power supplies were introduced (IPS/UPS)
as per the design requirements.
Generally individual cubicles were formed
for the patient’s privacy during routine tests.
These areas were fitted with stand alone
electrical bed head facilities and lighting for
examination purposes.
The general area has dimmable lighting for
softer luminance.
Alterations to the fire alarm system were
installed to cover the areas added to the
project.
Door access was also introduced for patient
security.
