LINDA McCARTNEY EDUCATION CENTRE
IED were the successful bidder on an
open tender process for the refurbishment
project. The works were carried out in the
main reception area, ground & 1st floor
offices, the building had to remain fully
functional throughout.
The works consisted:
Electrical & mechanical
service isolations.
Internal demolition & strip
out of existing workstations
Infilling of existing & formation
of new door openings
Dry lining of existing walls
New CAT 2 lighting, power,
data & TV to suit new desk
configuration
Convert existing store into
cleaners room including new
plumbing
New bespoke internal doors,
frames, architraves & skirtings
Alter / adapt existing
workstations / base units to
suit new layout
Carpet floor to new offices
Decoration throughout
IED also provided new blinds & undertook
localised repairs to the suspended ceilings.
